The South Korean international is back in training following an ankle injury and is hoping to be involved against Fulham at the weekend as Wolves aim to continue their current unbeaten run of three games.

Hwang, who scored 10 goals last season before the New Year, has not yet got back to his best and O'Neil warns the forward will be important to Wolves' resurgence.

O'Neil said: "He hasn't been as sharp since he went to the Asia Cup and came back with the injury and he hasn't managed to rediscover that sharpness, which was a key factor in why he was so dangerous.

"If you look back and watch the goals he scored for us last season, they were all sharp movements. Quick runs in behind and able to change direction quickly.

"He's never really got back to that since.
