I was so optimistic heading into the game with Wolves' recent form.
They were unbeaten in four. They had won their last two, but unfortunately, the Premier League can be ruthless when you are not on it.
It was a bit of a shock to the system with the way the game went. Bournemouth are a very good team, and they caused Wolves numerous problems from the way they pressed them.
They were very aggressive. They gave them no time on the ball and forced them into mistakes. Gary O'Neil said in his press conference the day before that he had told his players what Bournemouth were going to be like.
They knew what was going to happen, but they just could not deal with it. They got off to the worst possible start getting caught out with a simple ball over the top.
It was a crazy moment from Toti Gomes going to ground in the box and giving away that first penalty. It was the polar opposite to their last home game against Southampton, where Wolves got the early goal.
