It comes as no surprise that Salop have conceded the most goals in League One - they have been breached 39 times and are bottom of the division.
They have let in four goals more than the second-worst defensive record in the league - held by Peterborough.
Since Ainsworth came in as Town boss they have conceded 12 times, including eight in their last two matches, and that is an issue he plans to rectify.
He said: "I am known as a 4-3-3 man, but maybe I have got to look at that to see what we change here to make us stronger.
"There are certain players who like to play certain positions, but I was hoping we could maybe get on the front foot at teams. Maybe that leaves us open at the back.
"We just seem to be wide open sometimes, and I have got to address that.
