Wolves boss makes statement on club's survival chances

The new head coach enjoyed the perfect start to his tenure as head coach, masterminding a clinical performance against relegation rivals after having just three days of training with the team.

Wolves have now moved up to 18th in the league and are two points from safety, and the boss says his side have the quality to survive.

"Before I came I studied the players and in my opinion, I think with the quality we have here we can get results and another position in the table," Pereira said.

"When a team is on the bottom the confidence goes, and this is a problem.

"This means my job is to give them confidence and be a tactical GPS so they know what they need to do in each moment of the game. This is what I'm trying to give them.
