Wolves picked up a late point away at Spurs but were without Toti for their trip to the capital, with Pereira confirming he has suffered a hamstring strain that will take 'three to four weeks' for him to recover.
The club were already targeting a centre-back signing in the winter transfer window and Pereira has urged for a swift signing with youngsters Bastien Meupiyou and Alfie Pond the only options on the bench.
"The young players need time to play, this league is not easy," Pereira said.
"I believe that with time the two young centre-backs on the bench can help us, but we are a bit short.
"We are playing with three at the back but I don't want three centre-backs, I want three central defenders, I want one and one full-back left or right.
