Aaron Pierre's strike on the hour mark, followed by Cameron McGeehan's effort almost straight after, saw the spoils shared. 

On the one hand, Town made it three games without a loss and continued the good run they had been on since that late second-half comeback against Wigan. 

But the other side of the coin left Salop supporters wondering about what might have been had they not conceded within three minutes of taking the lead. 

The win would have done so much for Shrewsbury's chances of staying in League One this season - it would have cut the gap to Northampton to just three points.
