Duo held talks in West Brom's new boss hunt

Rene Hake and Raphael Wicky have held talks in the running for Albion's head coach role, with an appointment closing in.

It is understood experienced Dutch coach Hake, 53, held two rounds of interviews with Albion hierarchy in London.

Swiss former Basel and Young Boys coach Wicky is also in the capital and has been strongly touted with the role. He is also believed to have held talks.
