Gareth Ainsworth's side were due to welcome the Terriers, who are unbeaten since early October, to the Croud Meadow on Saturday.
However an early decision has been made by Salop officials to call the game off.
Earlier in the week, the club confirmed on social media that ground staff were monitoring the weather conditions, and the condition of the pitch.
Covers had been on the Croud Meadow surface since Tuesday morning and the club stated they were doing everything they could to try and get the game on.
However, with the pitch still frozen and more cold weather on the way on Friday evening, an early call has been made to postpone the game.
A new date for the clash will be confirmed in due course. Salop are set to be back in action on Thursday, as they welcome rivals Wrexham in a crunch derby clash.
