Town have added three additions to their ranks so far this January. Callum Stewart, Dominic Gape and Ricardo Dinanga have all arrived in the last two weeks from non-league clubs.
Salop are in the midst of a relegation scrap. Their form has improved under Ainsworth since he came in at the Croud Meadow - they have picked up 12 points from his 10 games in charge - but they are still adrift and well inside the bottom four.
Their squad, numbers-wise, is worse off this month. Seven players have left Shropshire, with just the three coming in.
