The team are flying high in the National League Northern Premier Division, sitting second in the league and just one point off leaders Nottingham Forest.
They have won their opening two games of the calendar year, following the 7-2 thrashing of local rivals Stourbridge last time out.
Destiney Toussaint was sent off in that game, while Wolves finished with nine players when they beat narrowly beat Derby back in August, and McNamara is keen for his side to remain disciplined as they host the East Midlands side.
“You never want to see red cards, you never want to see players leaving the pitch," McNamara said.
“That goes for both sides, we always want to keep players playing.
“Football is football and sometimes it gets the better of you.
“We saw it in our recent game, two players have a coming together and it’s kicked off a little bit which you simply don’t want to see.
“Ultimately things can get competitive, and it can get the better of you, but we don’t want to be seeing that this time round.
“It is a chance for us to win another game.
“Derby will be very tough; they have been prepping for a couple of weeks now.
“They haven’t played a league fixture yet this year, so we want to make sure we are firing and ready to go for that.
“They are a very physical team, a tough team to play against.
“They are good in the air, they are good in the box, they have got great finishers – so there are loads of things that we have got to work on this week to make sure we are ready.
“We will make a few tactical changes, but ultimately, we will head there full of confidence looking to make it three wins from three in 2025.
“We want to make sure that we are there for the footballing purposes, nothing else, and hopefully we can come out with a positive result against a good side.”
