Aaron Rai falls just short of second PGA Tour victory

Aaron Rai bogeyed two of the final three holes as he came up just short of his second victory on the PGA Tour.

The Wolverhampton-born former Shropshire & Herefordshire junior topped the leaderboard during the final day of the Mexico Open at Vidanta Vallarta, almost making a sensational albatross.

But dropped shots on the 16th and the 17th cost him the chance to be in a play-off with Aldrich Potgieter and eventual champion Brian Campbell, who took the title on the second play-off hole.
