Shrewsbury Town: Michael Appleton explains how he tries to improve players

Michael Appleton says forcing players to venture out of their comfort zone in the short term will benefit Shrewsbury Town in the long term.

Since the former Lincoln and Portsmouth boss joined Salop two weeks ago, there has been a distinct change in playing style as Town look to build from the back - a change from Gareth Ainsworth's more direct way. 

Appleton believes it is necessary for Shrewsbury to be brave on the ball if they are going to have success at producing and developing players as well as improving as a club. 

And in order to get those improvements, Appleton was asked by the Shropshire Star, how he goes about that on a day-to-day basis.
