Meole Brace and Castlefields kept up the pressure on Shropshire Premier Bowling League leaders Newport with big home wins last night.

Meole Brace, who are now second, defeated Wem 11-3 while Castlefields, third, beat Wrockwardine Wood 12-2.
The results put Meole Brace 10 points behind Newport with Castlefields a further two behind them.
