Captain's display gets Wellington safe
Wendell Wagner provided a stunning finish as Wellington secured their Birmingham & District League First Division status by beating Moseley.
Daniel Vaughan (40) and Jamie Miller (27) were the main contributors with the bat, as the Shropshire side were dismissed for 129.
But a stunning bowling display, which saw Wagner rip through the tail, saw Moseley ruthlessly dispatched for a measly 50.
Skipper Wagner posted the best bowling figures with a stunning late salvo that saw him claim four victims without conceding a run.
Trevor Garwe (2-21) and Anthony O'Connor (2-13) also impressed with the ball.
But while Wellington can look forward to another season at this level, the same can't be said for rock-bottom Oswestry, who saw their relegation confirmed after slipping to a five-wicket defeat against Attock.
Jonathan Miles (54) top-scored as the Border side closed on 154. But Attock reached their winning total in just 34.5 overs.
In Division Two, Bridgnorth enter the final game of the season against Tamworth knowing a win will secure the title after they swept aside Old Elizabethans.
James Ralph's side won the toss and elected to field, and then ripped out the home side for 128.
Dale Quiney was the star of the show, returning figures of 5-36 while Thomas Weaver also impressed with 3-19.
In reply, David Exall top-scored with 37 while Ralph was unbeaten on 22 as Bridgnorth claimed victory with six wickets to spare.
Shifnal suffered a seven-wicket defeat at Eastnor. Worfield continued their resurgent form with an eight-wicket victory over Water Orton in Division Three.
After winning the toss and electing to bowl, Patrick Butler (4-48), Gagandeep Singh (3-19) and James Parker (3-16) combined to dismiss Water Orton for 116.
In reply, Will Cook smashed 59 and George Hargrave added 29 as Worfield secured a commanding win.
There was also good news for Whitchurch as boosted their survival hopes with a 37-run win over Pelsall.
An inspired 46 not out from Ijaz Yousaf saw the north Shropshire side make 153. In reply, Pelsall could only manage 116 with Vansh Bajaj (3-20) and Mohammad Hasnain (2-10) the pick of the bowlers.
It means Whitchurch head into their final day clash with Kings Heath fifth from bottom, one place above the relegation zone.
