Joe Clarke dishes out awards to juniors
Shropshire cricket star Joe Clarke was the guest of honour at Bridgnorth's junior awards night.
The Worcestershire wicketkeeper-batsman, who was this week selected for England Lions' tour of Pakistan, was on hand to dish out the trophies.
While the club's senior sides have enjoyed a stellar campaign that resulted in promotion for the firsts, seconds and thirds, the juniors can also look back on a summer of success.
The Under-10s and under-13s both won their league titles, while the under-15s won the County T20 Cup competition.
In addition, 12 players were also selected to represent the club in county and district squads.
Chairman Jonathan Martin was keen to emphasise what a great season it had been and praise the youngsters' efforts in senior cricket.
He said: "It's been an unprecedented season for us, to have three teams all get promoted and two of them win titles.
"Without doubt it's by far and away the most successful season we've had in our 13 Birmingham League years.
"It's been particularly good to see the lads from the junior section also acquit themselves so well, especially in the thirds."
Bridgnorth will celebrate their incredible year with their annual Dinner Dance at the Down Inn on Friday October 2.
