Shropshire reach 43-2 after Welsh rain
Rain put paid to most of the opening day of Shropshire’s NCCA Championship season as they reached 43-2 at Wales County.

A little over 20 overs of play was managed at Brymbo, with both the Shropshire openers falling – Peter Clark (23) and Andre Bradford (7).
That means Tom Fell (8no) and Tim Maxfield (1no) were returning to the field this morning in an attempt to build on that score.
The three-day match concludes tomorrow.
