Pallett checks out of UK Open in first round
Shropshire darts ace David Pallett suffered disappointment on his return to the UK Open after exiting the competition in the first round.
Last year, Pallett famously reached the semi-finals of the tournament which is held in Minehead, with that performance earning him £17,500.
But the 29-year-old, who is from Newport, was unable to match those achievements this year in the competition widely dubbed the ‘FA Cup of darts’
Pallett was knocked out in the first round after falling to a 6-3 loss to Coventry’s Mark McGeeney.
