Carlos Corberan: Win will not affect West Brom hunger to improve
Albion boss Carlos Corberan has vowed their first win will not halt his squad’s quest for improvement.
The Baggies were made to work hard late on for a first win of the season but held of Swansea’s charge for a 3-2 win.
Corberan, who had seen his side lose back-to-back games in league and cup, was not impressed with passing up a comfortable 3-0 lead – but is satisfied he and Albion can work from a position of strength this week and not further disappointment.
“I think in football I always prefer to grow my team from a win rather than to grow my team from a defeat,” Corberan said.
