Ally Robertson: Tough run after break will show us where West Brom are

Our difficult next four of five fixtures is a really tough run for us – and will sort us out and show us if we are capable of really pushing to be in the promotion mix this season.

I was hoping we could nick a draw from Southampton, and we deserved one, but never mind. It was a poor goal for us to concede though, leaving Adam Armstrong unmarked for the winner.

I hope it gets the lads going after the international break, knowing they should’ve won. It should give them a great appetite, especially playing a top side like Ipswich.

We were excellent in the second half after doing very little in the first half – the same as the last home game against Hull!

We deserved something from the game, no doubt about that, but if we don’t take our chances, or look after the final ball, we don’t score the winning goal.

For players the bigger the team you’re again the better the game. You want to prove that you’re as good as Southampton, a team that have been in the Premier League for years, and can mix it with the teams fighting for promotion.
