Sean Parrish is a man who knows all about scoring vital goals in a big play-off final.

It was the tough-tackling midfielder who fired in the winner in AFC Telford United's first season to beat Kendal 2-1 and climb out of the UniBond League division one.

That big game back in 2005 was the last time that the New Bucks Head got to stage a clash of such importance - —their two play-off finals since then both coming away from home at Witton and Gateshead.

But they will be on their own patch on Sunday when they face Guiseley for the right to go up from the Blue Square Bet North. Home advantage is Telford's prize for securing second place and Parrish — now a youth coach at Northampton Town — is backing them to make it count.

"I can only see a Telford win and I think it will be quite comfortable," said Parrish.
