Boss Andy Sinton will cast an eye over two young goalkeepers when AFC Telford United send an experimental side to Ellesmere Rangers tonight.

The Bucks' line-up for their second pre-season friendly will largely be made up of trialists and Sinton is keen to sign cover for regular No 1 Ryan Young.

Former Stafford Rangers custodian Lee Evans appeared between the posts in the second half of Tuesday's 9-0 win at Rocester and now a pair of keepers rejected by Football League clubs will be given their chance to impress.

"We've had two young pros training with us since the start of pre-season, one from Cheltenham and one from Tranmere," said Sinton, who is refusing to name either at this stage.

"Both are free agents and they've done well in training but a lot depends on whether they think they should be playing straight away because I can't guarantee them that."
