Popular former defender Jim Bentley has followed in his father Jack's footsteps by being named as an AFC Telford United legend.
Popular former defender Jim Bentley has followed in his father Jack's footsteps by being named as an AFC Telford United legend.
Bentley played 181 games in his five seasons at the New Bucks Head from 1997 to 2002 before moving onto Morecambe, where he has successfully launched his managerial career this season.
Bentley follows FA Trophy winner Dave Mather has been named as one of this season's legend, and will officially be inducted into the hall of fame at a special event on November 23.
Other Bucks legends include ex-boss Stan Storton, ex-midfielder Antone Joseph, defender Alan Harris and current chairman Lee Carter.
