AFC Telford United boss Andy Sinton has described tonight's rescheduled match against Tamworth as the "most important game in the club's recent history".

The Bucks need just one win from their remaining three games to ensure that they will be playing in the Blue Square Bet Premier league next season.

Club chairman Lee Carter has made the match free entry to all spectators and Sinton is hoping that supporters will pack out the New Bucks Head and inspire his side to a priceless victory.

"We had a couple of play-off games last year, but tonight is even more important than that," said Sinton.

"We know what we have to do and we want to get it done in front of our fans tonight.

"I just remember when won the play-off final. It was a packed house and people in their droves were willing us on, so I would just urge the people of Telford to come out and support us.

"Their noise can give the lads a little bit more adrenaline to really push and get the job done." Sinton was disappointed with how his side played during the first hour of last weekend's 3-2 defeat against Ebbsfleet United and he is keen to avoid a repeat.

The manager insists that good preparation is the key and is looking for his side to overcome any relegation jitters and deliver a confident performance.

He added: "I'm looking forward to tonight's game and, of course, there are a few nerves around, a little bit of apprehension but we're in the driving seat.

"We can't be gung-ho, we have to be patient and use our heads.

"We need to show real desire and commitment but, at the same time, we've got to be quite cute as well.

"So we need to be fully prepared, I've said to the players that what they eat and drink, how they sleep, it's all vital."

Supporters are being advised to arrive at the ground as early as possible, with turnstiles open from 6.30pm.

Admission is free but collectors will be on hand for any fans wishing to make a donation.

The original match on Easter Monday was abondoned towards the end of the first half because of a waterlogged pitch.
