Bucks boss Andy Sinton will continue to look at potential new recruits, but has hinted that further additions will only be brought in if injuries begin to pile up.

The 46-year old former England international has said he is very happy with the 21-man squad he has assembled.

But with striker Chris Sharp sidelined by a groin injury and Michael Briscoe still recovering from a broken nose, Sinton suggested he may look to add further recruits.

Asked if he would try to add to his squad following the arrival of seven players last week, he said: "No. I'm quite happy with it at the minute.

"We have got 21 boys signed. We're OK but we have got two key players out so we are down to 19.

"We are not awash with bodies and at this time of year the games come thick and fast.

"It's something like 12 games before the end of September. If I think it needs strengthening or beefing up, I will certainly answer the question. But we have got the bodies to cope at the moment."

Sinton said Sharp would probably be out for another two weeks while he was hopeful Briscoe would be able to train this week following a pain-numbing injection.
