Versatility can hold the key for AFC Telford
AFC Telford United?midfielder Kris Taylor has hailed the versatility of the team following Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Lincoln City.
Taylor, who arrived at the New Bucks Head during the summer, was one of several players who ended up playing out of position against the Imps because of a wave of injuries to team mates.
The former Manchester United youngster slotted in at left back after centre-back Michael Briscoe was substituted just before half time.
Taylor said: "There's a few in our team that are quite versatile.
"Will's gone into centre-half and done great, Ryan Valentine switched from left back to right back, Jon Brown went and played right back, so we have players that can move around.
"Especially in the Conference when you have only got five substitutes it's probably great for the manager to know he's got all the basis covered."
And Taylor admitted he was happy to be on the pitch even if it wasn't in his preferred position.
"I have played everywhere," he said. "As long as you are playing it doesn't matter where," he said.
