The recently-relegated side, who will hold a press conference to announce their new manager tomorrow, have confirmed that Jay Smith, Jordan Rose, Jake Reid , Ian Craney and Luke Hubbins will all be released.

The contracts of all five players were set to expire this summer and a club statement read: "They will not be offered new terms and will leave the club."

An overhaul of the playing squad is expected in the close season following the Bucks' demotion from the Blue Square Bet Premier.

And the club has warned that there are likely to be many more leaving in the next few days. A wave of departures were expected to begin once a new manager had been appointed.

And the new Bucks boss, who will be unveiled at 6.45pm tomorrow, is believed to have already begun revamping the squad. A new signing will be announced tomorrow, along with the club's new assistant boss.

Former Southport manager Liam Watson remains the heavy favourite to be named as new manager.

Midfielder Smith joined the Bucks initially on loan from Tamworth in November 2011, before the deal was made permanent in January 2012. But he has has spent much of this season sidelined with injuries.

Hubbins, who joined the club last summer and scored twice in the 2012-13 campaign, has also been troubled by injuries as well as erratic form after a bright start to the season.

Rose and Reid arrived in August and July respectively but were both sent out on loan in the immediate aftermath of caretaker manager Graham Hyde's departure from the club in early March.

Reid, who was troubled with a hamstring injury early in the season, scored four goals for the Bucks. Craney was one of a clutch of new signings brought in under interim manager Mark Cooper's brief watch.
