And he is looking forward to linking up with his new team-mates for the forthcoming season, in which the Bucks will aim for promotion back to the top tier of non-league football.

New Telford boss Liam Watson has signed eight players since his arrival last month.

Matthew McGinn, Wes Baynes and Tony Gray have joined from Blue Square North champions Chester, while former Southport players Sean Clancy and Simon Grand have also been recruited.

Winger Mike Phenix has checked in from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North champions Skelmersdale while Fylde duo Sean Cooke and Adam Farrell have signed.

And Young, who will begin his seventh season with Telford in August, believes that a formidable side is being assembled.

Asked if he was impressed with the quality of signings he said: "They look very impressive. I have played against a few of them.

"Obviously the Fylde lads I haven't but I have heard good things about them. The gaffer knows the players that he wants to bring in and it looks like he is getting them.

"I am looking forward to the new season."
