The Bucks will welcome Steve Clarke's Baggies to the New Bucks Head on Saturday August 3, kicking off at 3pm.

The match is the highlight of a busy pre-season schedule which will start on July 9, when Telford welcome West Midlands Premier Division outfit Shawbury United in a Shropshire Senior Cup play-off semi-final.

Should they win that, they will have a play-off final, against the winner of Market Drayton's clash with the New Saints, on July 15 for the right to play against Shrewsbury Town for the trophy on July 25.

The Bucks' will then travel to Wales on July 20 to take on Huws Gray Alliance outfit Conwy Borough, before welcoming Blue Square Premier side Kidderminster Harriers three days later.

Several new signings are likely to find themselves lining up against their former clubs on July 27 and July 30.

Telford visit Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One North champions Skelmersdale United and then host Blue Square North winners Chester respectively.

Telford winger Mike Phenix has played for the former while striker Tony Gray, defenders Matthew McGinn and Wes Baynes, and midfielder Sean Clancy have all played for Chester.

West Brom's visit on August 3 will be followed on August 10 by a home clash against Welsh Premier League side Bangor City.

The Blue Square North season will start the following Saturday and the fixtures for the campaign will be released on July 5.

Meanwhile, work to overhaul the Bucks' squad is set to continue with boss Liam Watson hopeful of signing a striker in the coming days.

The club has also moved to quash rumours that midfielder Phil Trainer has signed for Nuneaton Town.

Trainer has been offered a new contract to keep him at the New Bucks Head although the deal has yet to be accepted by the player.
