Andy Parry back in AFC Telford's cup replay
AFC Telford United defender Andy Parry will hand his team a big defensive boost for tonight's FA Cup replay against Spennymoor.
The experienced centre-half, who is on a month's loan from Luton Town, missed Saturday's fourth qualifying round 2-2 draw at the Brewery Field because of a foot injury.
But manager Liam Watson says he will be fit for the match, which will earn the winners a first round tie against Basingstoke or Harrow Town.
Watson said: "Parry's fit for the game and we badly missed him on Saturday. He seems to bring a bit more confidence to everyone in the back five.
"He had a foot injury which he picked up last weekend at Woking, but sometimes 48 hours makes a big difference when it is a bang.
"He will be fine and Luton are fine with him playing for us in the Cup so it will be a big boost to have him available."
Parry is expected to come straight back into a defence that badly misfired on Saturday.
And Watson has hinted that he will make a number of changes to the starting XI following that display, which he labelled as 'shocking'.
Goal hero Andy Farrell was one of three substitutes – along with Josh Hancock and Sean Cooke – who helped Telford turn the tide and salvage an unlikely draw.
And Watson said: "There will be changes. All three subs will be disappointed if they don't start tonight."
With home advantage and their lower league opponents facing a 400-mile round trip, Watson believes his team should have the edge this evening.
But he added: "I have got to emphasise the point that we are not through yet.
"Playing at home gives us a big advantage because they have got to do a long trip but we have still got to go out there and win."
