The Bucks boss vowed to make significant changes following the team's relegation from the Conference Premier.

And Kittrick expects to announce his released list by the end of the week as well as confirming those who have been offered new deals.

He said: "I like to leave players for a few days after the season has finished, because they have to collect their thoughts and see where they are looking.

"A few will have offers elsewhere and a few won't have anything at all so they might want to have a look at other things.

"It gives them time to have a look at things and me to assess what I want."

Among those in the frame for new deals are midfielder Godfrey Poku and striker Tony Gray, who between them claimed seven awards at the club's presentation night on Saturday.

Kittrick has also expressed an interest in keeping defender Ian Sharps and midfielder Sean Clancy, as well as goalkeeper James Montgomery.

But the latter is on trial at League One side Walsall and turned out for their reserves yesterday.

Defender Neill Byrne and striker-midfielder Adam Farrell are the only two players already under contract at Telford for next season.

Expected departures from the New Bucks Head include Andy Owens, Sean Cooke, Jonathan Hedge, Josh Hancock and Wes Bayne.

They finished the season on loan at Marine, Nantwich Town, North Ferriby United, Witton Albion and Colwyn Bay respectively.

Midfielders Charlie Barnett and Kristian Platt look set to leave, along with and Jordan Deacey.

Kittrick is also hoping to confirm his new assistant manager within the next two days. He has been eyeing three potential candidates.
