And it's finally looking like the Bucks' chase for their winger target is going to come off.

Cardiff-born midfielder Rea hasn't played since March because of a knee operation but he is now fully fit after surgery and his rehabilitation through the summer. Manager Steve Kittrick said:

"He's had his operation and he's firing on all cylinders. I've got to speak to him again but at the moment he's told me he's in line to come training, which is great news.

"He will have a pivotal role in midfield but we have four or five other players in there that will keep him on his toes."

Rea was a £10,000 signing for Kittrick at Guiseley and he wasted no time in bringing him to Telford in January when he snapped him up from Bradford Park Avenue.

The Bucks boss believes the former Chester midfielder will have a significant part to play next season as Telford look to bounce back immediately with promotion to the Conference Premier."

Rea made made just five league appearances for Telford and didn't feature for the club after March 10.

He made a winning start to his Telford career, playing 84 minutes as they beat Aldershot 2-1 away on January 4. He then had a key role in a 4-0 away win over Wrexham.

But he lasted just 10 minutes of the Bucks' 1-0 home defeat to Halifax on January 27 because of injury, making only two further appearances.
