The 18-year-old, who signed his first professional contract with parent club Shrewsbury in May, completed a temporary loan switch to the New Bucks Head last week.

The forward, highly thought of in the corridors of Greenhous Meadow, will stay at Telford for an indefinite period.

And after getting among the goals as Steve Kittrick's side beat AFC Wulfrunians 3-0 in a pre-season friendly on Saturday, Anderson can't wait for the competitive season to begin on August 8.

"It's really good for me to be here and getting regular football – it can only benefit me," he said.

"I'm really eager to play. I just hope I can make an impact and score some goals and hopefully help Telford get promoted.

"I'm training with Shrewsbury full-time all week and playing for Telford on Tuesdays and Saturdays or whenever the games are.

"There is a chance I'll be recalled to Shrewsbury; if not I will stay for the season. I'd really like to help them get promoted – that would be a great experience."
