The striker, 25, came through the youth ranks at Port Vale where he made over 20 appearances in the Football League.

They have also completed deals for midfielder Jack Roberts and forward Niall Flint.

Glover has since enjoyed successful spells at Worcester City, Nuneaton Town and Hednesford Town before earning himself a move to Stockport County.

He arrives through the doors at New Bucks Head and is expected to make his first-team debut against a Derby County XI on Friday.

The Crewe-born forward is joined at the National League North club by Roberts and Flint - who have both impressed manager Steve Kittrick so far in pre-season.

Roberts, 24, is a Leicester City academy graduate and has spent four years playing football in the US.

While young striker Flint was released from Shrewsbury Town's academy and has since had a trial at Scottish Premier League outfit Ross County.
