No problem at Telford maintains boss Kittrick
Steve Kittrick today insisted there are no problems behind the scenes at AFC Telford United and declared: "Judge us at the end of September."
The Bucks prepare to kick off their home campaign tonight against National League North newcomers Curzon Ashton against a backdrop of unrest on social media following Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Lowestoft and the departures of five summer signings.
Jordan Goddard will be the latest to go after Neil Harvey, Jay Denny, Tom Thorley – who said the 26-mile drive affected his work-life balance – and Mat Bailey decided to quit Telford.
But boss Kittrick has moved to re-assure fans as they bid to bounce back this evening.
"Three of the signings came to see me and said they wanted to leave because they thought it didn't look like they were going to make the starting XI or the 15," said Kittrick.
"The Tom Thorley situation has been well documented and the fifth one (Goddard) will be resolved this week.
"There are no problems in the dressing room and there's nothing wrong so I don't want people thinking there is.
"People need to judge us at the end of September or the start of October, not after one, two or three games."
