One gone and an offer made at AFC Telford

AFC Telford United have released former Manchester United forward John Cofie - but an offer has been made to star defender Curtis Tilt.

The New Bucks Head side have also offered a deal to promising young attacker Zak Lilly.

Cofie scored some vital National League North goals as the Bucks fought relegation.

He netted four in the league after his January move, but his last goal game in the 2-0 win over Chorley in early March.

He also netted at the Greenhous Meadow as the Bucks lost out to Shrewsbury Town on penalties in the Shropshire Senior Cup.

Defender Tilt has been offered a deal for next season, with the decision on his future now resting with the player.

The imposing centre-half following boss Smith from Hednesford Town in the early stages of the season and became a firm favourite with the Bucks.

A series of impressive performances have caught the attention of several unnamed clubs, who are reported to be monitoring the defender.

Also offered terms is Thomas Telford attacker Lilly, 17, who spent last season on loan at Sutton Coldfield Town.

He impressed in his first full season, netting twice for the Evo-Stik Premier Division outfit.
