WATCH: Curtis Tilt joins Wrexham on one-year deal
AFC Telford United have been dealt a major blow after it was confirmed defender Curtis Tilt has left to join Wrexham.
The 24-year-old centre-half was a standout performer last season and attracted interest from a number of parties – including Salford City with England assistant boss Gary Neville personally calling him a bid to entice him to Manchester.
Tilt has been weighing up his options for the past fortnight, but has now put pen to paper on a one-year deal with the National League outfit.
The former Hednesford Town man followed boss Rob Smith and Larry Chambers from the Pitmen to the New Bucks Head in the early stages of last season.
His performances quickly earned rave reviews on the terraces and he became a firm fans' favourite for Bucks fans.
