Lee Fowler leaves AFC Telford United
Lee Fowler has today left AFC Telford United by mutual consent.
The 33-year-old midfielder, who has played for the likes of Huddersfield Town, Oxford United and Doncaster Rovers, was signed by the Bucks over the summer.
His last appearance for the club in the National League North was the 2-1 loss at The Lamb Ground against Tamworth last Saturday, in which he was substituted at half-time.
Today, he released this statement through Twitter:
He was included in the squad for the 2-0 win against Stalybridge Celtic on Tuesday night at the New Bucks Head, but he did not come off the bench.
In a statement, the AFC Telford United said: "The club would like to place on records our thanks to Lee for his efforts during his time at the club and we wish him all the very best in the future."
