Rob Smith having to deal short term at Telford
AFC Telford United boss Rob Smith admits any new signings are likely to be short-term loan deals.
The Bucks, who do not have a game tomorrow, let go of two midfielders – Lucas Dawson and Callum Gittings – prior to the game against Chorley at New Bucks Head last weekend.
Asked if any new faces will be brought in after letting those two leave the club, Smith said: "We are tight with the money at the moment. We have got decent numbers and anything we will do in terms of bringing in players will probably be short-term loans."
Telford already have two midfielders in on loan. Jonathan Royle was signed on a three-month deal from Stourport at the start of last month while Jordan Sangha, who had a lively cameo against Chorley, joined the club from Walsall last week on an initial one-month loan.
The squad trained last night and will be taking part in a boxing session at the David Corfield Gym on Long Lane, Albrighton tomorrow.
"We are not playing a friendly so we will be doing a bit of boxing and getting the lads involved with that," said Smith.
