AFC Telford defender joins Sutton Coldfield on dual registration deal
AFC Telford United full-back Darren Campion has joined Sutton Coldfield Town on a dual registration deal.
The Bucks left-back, who turned 28 last week, has been left out of Rob Smith's matchday squad for the last two games.
The New Bucks Head chief cited personal reasons as explaining Campion's absence.
Now the whole-hearted Campion, who followed boss Smith and assistant Larry Chambers from Hednesford Town, has pitched up at Sutton Coldfield, who play in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division - one tier below Telford.
The Bucks recently secured the short-term services of Wolves prospect Ben O'Hanlon - who has impressed while filling in at left-back.
Telford, who are currently raising funds to help secure the future of the club, travel to Altrincham in the National League North next - with Smith's side sitting 14th.
