Bernard McNally: Telford out to find that consistency
AFC Telford United's safety isn't concrete yet and they need to go for it at Darlington and try and get some form of positive result just to finish the job.
Let's hope they get survival sorted. Rob Smith already has one eye cast on next year.
I think this season has been a good eye-opener on where these Telford players are and what the Bucks need.
Telford's Bank Holiday games summed up their struggles with consistency, they can't seem to maintain it and went from a positive display at Stockport to a heavy home Nuneaton defeat.
He'll be looking for players that can maintain those standards – there'll be question marks over the majority of the players.
They need a summer overhaul. Like most teams, when you're struggling and finishing low down you need to re-asses when the season finishes.
As a manager you need to ask yourself whether the players have matured, whether they've learned enough and if they have the ability to go to the next step.
At the moment Rob wants players that'll go out at Darlington and get at least the point they need.
