Bucks boss Rob Edwards has been impressed by former Liverpool man Marsh, aged 20, who has been on trial and featured in all five of their pre-season friendlies.

He scored in the first one, a 4-0 victory against Midland Premier side Haughmond.

Dwyer, 20, penned terms after the 0-0 draw against Hereford on Saturday following a successful trial period.

The former Mansfield Town man has also played in all of Telford’s friendlies so far, scoring three times.

When asked about the pair, Edwards said: “Those two lads I think are going to be with us.

“Anthony signed after the game on Saturday and we are hoping to get Will signed up now.”

Another who has played in all the friendlies, on trial, is Wolves defender Aaron Hayden.

Edwards wants to sort out a loan deal for the 20-year-old and said: “It’s something we are looking at.”

"Aaron is someone I really like and worked with before at Wolves.

“I think he can really help us, he has everything going for him.”

Meanwhile, the Bucks chief believes the draw against Hereford at the New Bucks Head gave him a better glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming National League North campaign, which starts with a trip to York City on August 5.

A hard-fought encounter saw Bucks goalkeeper Jas Singh save a penalty, while John Marsden struck the post and Matt Barnes-Homer put a header wide from close range.

Hereford will compete in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division this term – a level below Telford – but have a strong side, including former Bucks man Jack Deaman.

Edwards was impressed by the Bulls and said: “It was the first game, really, where we looked at it and had an idea of what’s to come in the league.

“It was a tough, very competitive game.

“I was impressed with Hereford, I think they will do well this year.

“They came out strong in the first half an hour and then, after we saved the penalty, I think we played well.

“It was a close game and a good test for us. I thought that we competed well, and so did they.”
