Bernard McNally: Results all that matter for AFC Telford
It is three defeats in a row for AFC Telford and Rob Edwards is getting used to how unforgiving National League North can be.
Academy football, like he was involved with at Wolves, is all about progress – there is no major pressure on you – but for the Bucks it is all about results.
They are playing some decent football but, having been there myself, fans can become disgruntled after a bit because you have got to get points on the board.
Once you step into that hotseat, you have got very little time to win the fans over so Telford need to start stringing a couple of wins together.
Rob wants to play the best football possible but sometimes it is about grinding out a result – getting points on the board first and then looking at how you want to play.
These next two or three games for Telford will be interesting, even a draw at Darlington on Saturday would be massive for the confidence of the players.
