Bernard McNally: Fresh legs make a difference for AFC Telford
AFC Telford United got their first league win at the New Bucks Head under Rob Edwards on Tuesday and hopefully that can be the start of a good run.
They really needed that monkey off their back and it has been a long time coming, writes Bernard McNally.
Stockport County are a good side and beating them 3-2 deserves credit, especially on a really wet, blustery night.
Marcus Dinanga and Anthony Dwyer have been good up front for the Bucks, and Jordan Murphy has come in now and got the winner against Stockport.
It is good when you have get one on the bench to freshen things up in that last 20 minutes or so.
They face Barwell, who have got ex-Telford striker Kyle Perry, in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Kyle is not the most mobile now, but he is a clever player and the Bucks will have to be wary of him.
Barwell pay good money for their level so it will be a tough test.
