Rob Edwards hopes for huge AFC Telford support in the FA Cup
Boss Rob Edwards wants a big AFC Telford United following at Hereford in the FA Cup first round.
The Bucks were drawn at the Bulls last night. The two sides met in pre-season in July, drawing 0-0.
“We played them in pre-season and it was a very tough game,” said Edwards.
“They have probably made a few changes since then, like we have.
“They are a big club for their level (Evo-Stik Southern Premier, a step below National League North side Telford) and they are doing well.
“It is probably not the tie either sets of supporters would have wanted, but it’s a tie both sets of supporters will feel they can win.
“We are confident going into every game at the moment.
“It will be tough, there will be a big crowd, a raucous one at Edgar Street – and hopefully we will take a lot of fans there.”
First round ties will take place on the weekend of November 3-6.
