Left-back Gough, aged 27, signed for the Bucks during the summer and regularly featured for them in National League North – making 11 appearances.

He worked under Chester boss Marcus Bignot at Solihull Moors.

Also on the way out of Telford – for the time being at least – is striker Matthew Barnes-Homer.

The 31-year-old has been dual-registered with Evo-Stik Northern Premier outfit Halesowen Town.

Bucks chief Rob Edwards said: "Jordan has been terrific for us since I arrived at the club and has remained the ultimate professional.

"The opportunity to join a National League club shows how well he has done for us this season and the chance to work with Marcus again was too good to turn down”

On Barnes-Homer, a club statement read: "Matthew Barnes-Homer has been dual-registered with Halesowen Town to help him gain some valuable minutes which is something Rob Edwards can’t guarantee at the moment."
