Ex-Shrewsbury Town and AFC Telford goalkeeper Callum Burton joins Salford City
Former Shrewsbury Town and AFC Telford United shot-stopper Callum Burton has joined Salford City on a one-month loan.
The 21-year-old from Newport links up with the Ammies from Hull City, who he signed for in the summer following rising through the ranks at Salop – and having a loan spell with the Bucks last season.
Burton was snapped up by the Class of ‘92-owned club after their No.1 goalkeeper Maxime Crocombe picked up a straight red card in a 2-1 win at Bradford Park Avenue last weekend, for urinating on the pitch during the last few minutes of the game.
