AFC Telford searching for another goalkeeper
AFC Telford United are on the lookout for another goalkeeper following the departure of Sheridan Martinez.
Martinez has left the club to rejoin Solihull Moors, without playing a competitive game for the Bucks.
He signed for the club in the summer after impressing boss Rob Edwards during a trial spell, but could not wrestle the No.1 jersey away from Jas Singh.
Despite Martinez failing to get any game time for Telford, the Bucks chief wants another goalie to compete against Singh – and be there as adequate cover should Singh get injured or suspended.
Meanwhile, Edwards has spoke highly of Kidderminster Harriers – who they head to on Monday, after drawing 0-0 against them on Boxing Day.
“They do it right – they’ve been building for the last year and a bit," he said.
"They had a really good team last year that went close and they’ve managed to redevelop."
