AFC Telford made to wait in chase for goalkeeper
AFC Telford United's search for another goalkeeper drags on as a loan deal for Wolves youngster Jack Ruddy hangs in the balance.
The Bucks had hoped to tie up a deal, until the end of the season, for the 20-year-old Scot this week.
It is thought, though, the Molineux club are weighing up other options for Ruddy before rubber-stamping a move to the New Bucks Head.
Wolves announced on their website on New Year’s Day that Ruddy – who recently had a loan spell at Oldham Athletic in League One – had agreed to join Telford, but the club deleted the post soon after.
Bucks boss Rob Edwards is searching for a shot-stopper following the departure of Sheridan Martinez over the festive period.
He moved up a tier to rejoin National League outfit Solihull Moors without playing a competitive game for the Bucks.
