AFC Telford sign Troy Deeney's brother for undisclosed fee
AFC Telford United have confirmed the signing of midfielder Ellis Deeney from Tamworth FC.
Joining for an undisclosed fee, Deeney, brother of Watford striker Troy, has signed an 18-month deal at the New Bucks Head - keeping him at the club until the summer of 2019.
He's available for selection in the Bucks' National League North meeting with York City.
Telford boss Rob Edwards was thrilled to strengthen his side:
"When we were made aware of that Ellis was available, we were keen to get the deal done as he is a player I have been very impressed with at this level." He said.
"Ellis will add further strength to our squad and I am delighted we have secured him into for this evening’s game."
