AFC Telford boss Rob Edwards feels signs are positive
Boss Rob Edwards is 'seeing a lot of good things' from AFC Telford United despite them being four points from safety in National League North.
The Bucks conceded a last-gasp leveller as they drew 2-2 at Tamworth on Saturday.
They are third from bottom ahead of tomorrow's trip to Spennymoor Town.
Edwards is in optimistic mood, though, and said: "I'm seeing a lot of good things at the moment – and we're not necessarily getting the rewards for it.
"We have to keep believing and doing those right things because results will follow.
"We should be talking about three points – but we're not.
"There's a lot of games coming. We need to continue the good form and take that into Tuesday.
"We know it's going to be very difficult, they are a very good team with a lot of ammo.
"If we keep performing that way, we can cause teams a lot of trouble. It's there for all to see."
Edwards held a meeting with the side's more experienced players before the game.
He wanted a response from them after Tuesday's 3-0 defeat to Curzon Ashton.
On if he got the desired response, the Telford chief said: "I think we did, in the main.
"I'm just bitterly disappointed we didn't see it out.
"That was one of the things we talked about, set pieces – organised and making sure you're alert.
"It's just the fashion of it that's disappointing.
"But they were outstanding, the leaders we're talking about. Some really good performances.
"I'm not going to single names out now, but they all performed really well."
